Country Puppies: Honey, our youngest dog, is now 5 years old. She has a lovely nature, just like her Mum Fern, and as well as being part of our family she goes shooting with our family. We have mated her with Paddy (a fox-red Labrador) from Long Marston which is owned by a friend whose dog has an exceptional pedigree and health record. He comes to shooting days on our farm and is a family pet as well as a working dog. They had a successful mating and Honey produced seven lovely yellow puppies – 5 bitches and 2 dogs. We have now produced four generations of wonderfully natured dogs which have grown up with our two children (and now grandchildren).
